My daughter has been learning chess with SMCA for the last 3 years. SMCA coaches have been very good mentors to her teaching her different openings, tactics, and endgames. They have kept her motivated to continue learning and improving her game.

We discovered SMCA during the lockdown and it has been a great experience for our nine-year-old son. We have had some very good instructors who are totally hands-on and child-friendly. They ensure that every child is kept engaged and interested throughout the class though it’s a group class. There is a sincere effort on the part of the coaches to keep the child in the game.

The online tournament was conducted very nicely. They guided us very nicely. I thank the administrators and all the team members to give us a very good experience of an online chess competition.......

My daughter has picked up the game quite well. Her interest in the game also increased. Sir is giving equal chance to everybody when a game is played among the children and also I am happy with the coaching.

The coach is really good. My son has grasped chess very well, Sir is quite good at teaching the techniques. He identified his weak points in chess and provide the necessary help required. I’m highly impressed with SMCA has played in helping my son think on the lines of acquiring control of certain strategic squares rather than merely respond on a move-to-move basis! They also help the child think of counter moves which enable better learning and to know what the opponent could be thinking. They conduct frequent tournaments and encourage children. I am extremely pleased with the way the classes are conducted and that my son is very eager to attend the classes.

My son Nivaan, aged 5 has almost finished the 1 year High Performance Coaching Programme from SMCA. He really liked the course and improved a lot. Thanks to SMCA, especially Balaji sir for curating such a terrific curriculum.

I am not sure if Saumya Found Chess or Chess found Saumya. My son first started playing chess at SMCA's White House center; Balaji Sir saw the potential in him and suggested him to join the High Performance Coaching Programme.
